To receive a full refund, less 10% cancellation fee, please ensure that cancellations are made in writing to thehiveathighrock@gmail.com at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled reservation. Cancellations made within the 72 hour window are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy.

MASSAGES, SPA APPOINTMENTS AND YOGA CLASSES

Appointments can be canceled with a 10% cancellation fee or rescheduled with no fee through the link in your conformation email up to 72 hours in advance. If canceling through the portal please email us at thehiveathighrock@gmail.com with a request to process the refund, less 10% cancellation fee. Guest Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release

The Hive at High Rock is a place to slow down, reconnect, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the land. Because we are a natural property with outdoor spaces, wellness experiences, and changing conditions, there are some inherent risks that come with being here.

By visiting, staying at, or participating in any activity or service at The Hive at High Rock, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I Understand the Nature of the Property

I understand that The Hive at High Rock includes natural, wooded, and outdoor areas and that conditions can change. I accept the ordinary risks associated with being on and enjoying the property, including uneven or slippery ground, rocks, roots, mud, gravel, steps, stairs, decks, paths, wet surfaces, changes in elevation, low lighting, and other natural or man-made conditions.

I understand that weather and nature are part of the experience. Risks may include rain, snow, ice, wind, storms, falling limbs or debris, extreme temperatures, insects, ticks, bees, plants, wildlife, and other conditions or encounters that may occur naturally on or around the property.

I agree to use reasonable care, pay attention to my surroundings, follow posted instructions and property guidelines, and use any facilities or equipment only as intended.

Wellness, Spa & Other Services

I understand that The Hive may offer or host wellness, spa, bodywork, thermal spa, massage, acupuncture, breathwork, yoga, movement, meditation, and other experiences or services.

I understand that these experiences may involve physical activity, heat, cold, water, pressure, touch, movement, changes in body position, or other physical sensations and that participation may carry inherent risks, including injury, dizziness, fainting, burns, falls, muscle soreness, or other physical reactions.

I voluntarily choose whether to participate in any service or activity and agree to communicate any concerns, limitations, discomfort, or medical considerations to the appropriate practitioner before or during the experience.

I understand that The Hive and its practitioners are not responsible for determining whether a particular activity or service is appropriate for me. I am responsible for making my own informed decision about participation and for seeking advice from an appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.

Assumption of Risk

I knowingly and voluntarily assume responsibility for the risks associated with my presence on the property and participation in activities, services, lodging, amenities, and experiences at The Hive, including risks that may be known or reasonably foreseeable as well as ordinary risks inherent to the environment or activity.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kentucky law, I, on behalf of myself and, where legally permitted, my heirs, personal representatives, successors, and assigns, hereby release and agree to hold harmless The Hive at High Rock, its owners, operators, employees, independent contractors, practitioners, instructors, agents, representatives, and affiliated service providers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, or causes of action arising out of or related to my presence on the property, lodging, participation in activities or services, or use of the property and its amenities, including claims for personal injury, illness, property damage, or death arising from or related to the ordinary negligence of a Released Party.

This release includes, without limitation, claims arising from slips, trips, falls, wet or uneven surfaces, stairs, decks, paths, natural terrain, weather, wildlife, insects, plants, falling branches or debris, fire or heat, water or thermal experiences, spa and wellness services, physical activities, equipment or amenities, and other conditions or activities reasonably associated with the property and experiences offered at The Hive.

I understand that this release is intended to be interpreted as broadly as permitted by applicable law.

Personal Responsibility

I agree to act responsibly and to follow all safety instructions, posted rules, practitioner instructions, and reasonable directions given by The Hive staff or service providers.

I understand that The Hive is not responsible for injuries or losses resulting from my failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of property or equipment, reckless behavior, or participation in an activity despite being advised not to do so.

Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings while visiting or staying at The Hive. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release the Released Parties from responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto or left on the property.

Medical Emergencies

I understand that The Hive is located in a rural, natural setting and that emergency medical assistance may not be immediately available. In the event of an emergency, I authorize The Hive or its representatives to seek reasonable emergency assistance on my behalf when appropriate. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical or emergency expenses.

Acknowledgment

I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the property, activities, and services offered at The Hive. I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may choose not to participate in any activity or service.

By signing or electronically accepting this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver, that I am voluntarily accepting the risks associated with visiting and participating at The Hive at High Rock, and that I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to bring certain claims for injuries or losses covered by this release.

I understand that this agreement is intended to protect both the peaceful experience of The Hive and the people who make it possible.
